Volunteer for FOCUS

To volunteer for FOCUS, go to http://www.focus-ga.org/ and print a volunteer application. Complete & fax to FOCUS at 770-234-9131. Someone from FOCUS will call or e-mail you with further information. We do require background checks on all volunteers over age 18.

FOCUS Wish List

FOCUS offers all programs free or at a reduced rate for families. To keep our costs low, we could use your help!! We currently need:

Office Needs - We are moving in October 2007!! Our new office has a conference room large enough to offer workshops & seminars!!! We need a few items:

  • a calculator with a tape -Joy & Patty fight over the one we have!
  • folding chairs - we'd like to purchase these to match.........
  • books of stamps - we use bunches for everything from bills to thinking-of-you cards

Parent Support Needs

  • Gift cards to child-friendly restaurants - to send to families after a hospitalization or during a rough patch
  • Gift cards to places like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts - coffee really does make everything SEEM better!
  • Gift cards to Blockbuster - for children in the hospital or for siblings at home.
  • New Toys for Boys or Girls - the perfect re-gift for duplicate toys your child might receive! We will use them for children in the hospital or see below.
Fund Raising Needs

  • New Toys for Boys and Girls - we also use these for raffle / silent auction baskets. Buy them on clearance!!
  • Holiday Items - Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter!! We make all kinds of holiday baskets for our raffle / silent auction - buy on clearance & we'll package them & make them look pretty!!
  • Items to pamper moms: delicious lotions, candles, coffees, unique gift items. We'll create baskets!
